Such A Prince by Dan Bar-elHumorous modern fairytale which could be used to teach drawing conclusions.

Marvin must prove to the king that he is worthy of marrying his daughter, but is almost fooled into losing the contest until the fairy points out that the peasant woman, really the queen, is wearing a fancy ring, and that the beggar, really the king, is wearing fancy boots.

Marvin concludes that he is being fooled and does not fall for the trick.
